On May 13, 2019, the LAUTER project will be again, for the fourth time in just three years, on stage at the “Claudio Abbado” Theatre. The occasion will be a chamber music concert related to Ferrara Arte’s exhibition Boldini and Fashion on display at Palazzo dei Diamanti. The evening’s musical program will in fact include works that the contemporaries of Giovanni Boldini would hear at social gatherings in Paris at the beginning of the twentieth century.
As usual, the concert will be the conclusion of a two months journey of sensitisation to classical music, and especially chamber music, that will have involved students from Ferrara’s secondary schools (for this particular project: Liceo Ariosto, Istituto Bachelet and Smiling International School).
Just like in November 2018, we will focus on the relationship between art and music and this connection will be explained by Ferrara Arte’s curators and LAUTER musicians directly to the students in the schools.
Alexandra Conunova, Nicola Bruzzo, Béatrice Muthelet, Alexey Stadler and Enrico Pace will play music by Debussy, Poulenc and Fauré.
